David Chandler, CEO of The Leadership Center, Inc. (TLC) and former Business professor at BYU-Idaho, will present two seminars on:

  1. Effective Business Negotiations – In business you’ll negotiate everyday.
  2. Transition Skills – successfully transitioning from college to corporate life

These seminars are being offered based on research that identifies these two areas as weakness for most college graduates entering the corporate workplace.

1. BUSINESS NEGOTIATIONS
Your ability to negotiate effectively affects your job satisfaction, job security, employment options, and many other aspects of your career. It can make a difference of tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in income for your family.

The negotiation material being presented is the same material (TLC) teaches its Fortune 100 clients. TLC’s corporate clients pay thousands of dollars to have just one leader attend one of these seminars. These courses are not taught down at the university level – until now.

2. TRANSISTION SKILLS
For many of you, the pattern of attending school annually has been your schedule for the past 16+ years. So the transition from school to a full time career is one of the biggest transitions you’ll ever make. Getting off on the right path is important to your immediate and long term success.

This seminar will cover the key challenges commonly faced and the critical competencies to being successful.

Business or Communication majors and all BYU-I Alumni are invited to attend these free seminars.
